I almost forgot to share this picture which I took this morning. Now I know what you're thinking - you're wondering what exotic location I have travelled to (oh, humour me!), when in fact this was view that greeted me from my very own bedroom window when I rolled out of bed this morning.
Yeah, yeah, I know - shepherds' warning and all that. I don't care. I reckon it's a great way to start a day.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this picture - it is a privilege to wake up to a scene like that. If we would only open our eyes! Doesn't matter where we live or what the season is - there is such a lot of beauty around us. We often miss it, simply because we do not look. Makes one think ... beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... so if I do not see the beauty, maybe the proble lies in my eye.
ReplyDelete@kobus I don't know where in South Africa you're based, but I only ever need to go down to Blaauwberg at sunset to be filled to leaking point with awe at the beauty that surrounds us.
