pic of the day - gasp, wheeze

Most of the year, I have the lungs of a draught horse. I have, after all, had classical singing coaching. But come June, my bronchi and bronchiolae go on strike, and my every breath wheezes and rasps. Fortunately, I managed to find the asthma pumps I thought I had lost. Unfortunately, I can't remember which one I'm supposed to use daily and which ones I'm supposed to use in the event of an 'episode'.

  1. Brown daily, it's your steroid. Blue in case of attack/tightness. Just my eyes and sinuses at the moment luckily.

If one of them is albuterol, that's the rescue inhaler. That's the common and cheap option here, so it's probably one of the two you have there.

  3. @Linda Thanks. Bless you for that. I googled it after posting the picture and got it sussed. But I am so blown away by how the social netowrk produces answers. I think I am going to have to post about a recent incident, actually, because it was so fantastic! Watch this space.

  4. @Christy They have slightly different names in the UK, of course. The brown one is Becatide, and the blue one Ventolin. To be used as Linda describes.
