The widgetal age

Widgadget (anyone want to guess how it should be pronounced?) offers users the opportunity to create widgets free of charge. Here's one for this blog. Now to figure out how to add it to my website (which is very tightly locked down):

That's very kind of you, Nicola, but it doesn't look as if it's possible. The site is constructed using a wizard and it's severely limited. As soon as you try to embed any code, it just displays the code :o(

Hi, the site looks nice btw !

Due to just missing a train, entirely my own fault - had a quick look at the source code and visited your web provider's site - I see what you mean, they don't appear to offer much in terms of customising it from a web point of view - however would you like me to ring their webdesign experts and have a web conversation with them?

If you could achieve this using a different web hosting provider which offered things like wizards so you could auto-update your site, without needing to code it - would you be interested / are you happy with everything else with web hosting provider etc?

Apologies if we have had this conversation before and I've forgotten what you said,

Thanks, Nicola. Glad you like the site. I don't think I'd bother talking to the webdesign guys, customer service is not their great forte. I only use them because they're cheap and the facility is intuitive. If I could customise my site at a reasonable cost, I would certainly consider moving it.
